diy: coasters

it seems like lately a lot of people have nice and updated furniture, that they would prefer to keep nice. good idea, right? usually people have hot pads, or coasters available when they have guests over or to use for themselves, to set a (perhaps) perspiring or hot drink down, so there is no chance of ruining the nice furniture.

some common coasters have pictures in them, which i find to be very cute because the owner could put pictures of their kids or grandkids in them, or a memorable event in them as well.

other kind of coasters can come from garage sales or could be some that were handed down to you by your great grandma, or you could have just picked them up from a craft store thinking that it would match your room perfectly!

so anyway, to get to the point, this caught my eye when i was on Pinterest today; there was a really cool way of making your own coasters, that i had found very unique and interesting, also a good idea for a gift!
